What We Do

Teknoir is an Operational AI company that enables use cases grounded in the physical world related to safety, security, optimization, and reliability.

Our Edge AI platform makes it possible to inference on lightweight, resource-constrained compute devices that are directly connected to structured and unstructured multimodal data sources like video, images, audio, and IoT sensor data. We do this independent of the cloud, so customers’ data remains private and secure. Our platform provides users the necessary tooling to enable a complete, end-to-end MLOps workflow for generative AI and conventional model development, training, evaluation, deployment, and management. This is accomplished with an intuitive and beautiful user experience designed for those who aren’t data scientists, machine learning engineers, or developers.

Personally, we are gamers, tinkerers and nostalgic about 80s & 90s pop culture. We code, solder and assemble things for fun. We are builders in both the digital and physical realms. We do not show our cards nor reveal our hand. We are neither naive suckers nor ordinary pushovers. We live entirely in the dark. And we thrive there.

A group of misfits wanders a land renowned for technology and robotic advancement. The night sky gently aglow with city lights filtering through fine mist. Pulled into the tiniest of alleys by fate, they stumble into a secretive, all-night baijiu bar off an otherwise quiet and sleepy Hengshan road. On the door, painted by hand, the name Heikeji. The space inside is no bigger than a storage closet. As the group enters, the proprietor vanishes behind a curtain.

They sit at a small table in the corner. Together, they talk through the night. Reshaping the future of industry by creating artificial intelligence for machines. The plans envision seamless interconnectivity, easy application and endless adaptability. This was the birth of Operational AI, an AI for the physical world. Scrawled onto notepads in the noir of a Shanghai baijiu bar. The question remains: is there a seat for you at this table?
