Segment Anything Model (SAM) Integration with YOLOv7: Auto Annotation for Segmentation Use Cases

YOLOv7 is among the state-of-the-art object detection models that use deep learning techniques to detect and classify objects in real time. SAM employs an unsupervised machine learning technique and has been trained on over 11 million images, with over one billion masks for various objects. SAM is used to segment objects in images, videos, or streams.

We integrate SAM into the Teknoir Platform. Our objective is to simplify the annotation process for segmentation, making it more accessible and user-friendly for all users.
